Who am I?

I’m Marguerite Stevenson, a writer living in Dublin, Ireland. I was born and raised in Washington, DC, where I worked as a freelance editor and spent seven grueling years working in law. After a crisis of faith, I moved to Dublin to study for an M.A. in Creative Writing at Dublin City University. I’ve stayed in Dublin since, writing and participating in the vibrant literary scene here. My first publication, an essay called “Capo Galera,” was published in the inaugural issue of The Belfast Review in January 2024.

I see writing as something that is not simply done on the page but as an extension of a life well-lived. I thrive on making connections, listening to people, and bringing them together.
